Visual Description
Promontorium Agarum appeared as a bright cape projecting into the dark surface of Mare Crisium from the eastern shore. This promontory formed part of the highland rim surrounding the oval-shaped Mare Crisium. The feature was composed of bright highland material that contrasted sharply with the dark mare basalt, creating a distinctive landmark along the mare’s eastern edge.
