Visual Description
Manilius appeared as a prominent, bright crater on the northern edge of Mare Vaporum, standing out against the darker mare surface. The crater displayed sharp, well-defined terraced walls that descended to a relatively flat floor. A small central peak was visible under good seeing conditions. The crater’s brightness and excellent preservation indicated its relatively young age compared to surrounding features.
